He's my...

Gotta love those bathtub letters.... Didn't know they stuck to babies, too!
Check out the video of him, crawling as fast as he can to get to the bathtub. He does this every night, after we undress him in his room. He LOVES the bath and can hardly wait to get in! I know, I know. He's gonna kill us when he sees this in a few years.... Gotta love that tan line!

Hangin' with Mrs. Mitchell

Two pasty-white ladies and a tan, little man
  Kisses from Tiff... ahhhhhh....
        The boys

My tall boy... and little, not-so-tall Dryden:)
He's a walker!
Lovin' all the new, fun stuff!

Ethan and I visited Tiff Mitchell's house today-- her BRAND NEW house, that is! They were finally able to move out of the in-law's and get their own place. It's beautiful, too! Ethan had so much fun, and walked quite a bit there (I think it had something to do with the fact that there was actually ROOM for him to walk around there!). Dryden and Ethan actually played together and helped to entertain each other. Tiff made us yummy chicken tacos for lunch. I found out that Ethan will eat grapes-- so nice to go other places and let them give your kid food to try. I've been so stuck on giving him baby food too much, when he can very well eat regular food. I've got to break myself of the habit! Congrats, Tiff & Jayson, on the new home!

Water Baby

        My beautiful boy
Our day swim

The boys and their night swim

Here's just a few fun pictures of us enjoying our inflatable pool. It's the perfect amount of water for Ethan to crawl around in, and he loves it! I love that he appreciates the little things, like getting out of the house (to our backyard:) to explore and have fun for a while. He teaches me so much, my little boy. I've learned to relax more and not sweat the small stuff!

Sunday dinner

The cute Zieglar family-- Kreed, Jenna, & Luke
Luke shielding himself from Ethan's attack of the water bottle
Hah! He took the weapon away!
Cute boys!
Chasing each other around the house...

We had the Zieglar family over for Sunday dinner yesterday. We certainly don't have people over for dinner often enough! We had a really fun time, and it was nice catching up with Kreed, who I hadn't seen since his wedding with Jenna! I swear, the boy is 8 feet tall! The babies had fun trading toys back and forth, each wanting the toy the other had. I guess it comes with the age! Ethan was so interested in some of his toys he'd normally care less about, simply because Luke wanted to play with them! Funny babies!

Tribute to Mom

This is probably the same poster hung around campus back when my mom went there...

My mom has decided to go back to school! She earned her associate's degree from BYU before she got married, but never went any further. As a BYU alumni, she found out she's eligible for a special online program to earn her bachelor's, and she's decided to take it on! I'm so proud of my mother! I've always known she was brilliantly smart, but now she'll have the degree behind her to prove it. At just over 50, she'll be earning her degree in General Studies with an emphasis in Family History. She's always been the biggest genealogy nut I know, so it's perfect for her! She's helped a ton of people with their genealogy, and she's also helped people find lost loved ones when they had no luck themselves! She looks forward to doing it, perhaps, as a part-time job. She gets the biggest kick out of it all and truly loves the work! More power to you, Mom!

Go Cougars!

M*A*G*I*C*

Becca: Sister Park-- we're gonna make you the BEST Personal Progress Leader EVER!

Me: Oh REALLY? And how's that?

Becca: We're gonna work really hard on our Personal Progress and do whatever you tell us.

Me: Hmmmm....

Becca: 'Cause you've got the MAGIC in you!!

Have I mentioned how much I love my incredibly insane Young Women?? Well, I do. I was officially released today from the Young Women presidency, as the 2nd counselor. I've been in the presidency for close to 4 years now! We were all released together, so it made for an interesting and rather emotional Sacrament meeting today, with lots of bearing of testimonies. I've loved working with all of the ladies, and I hope we continue to be close. As you can see, from above, I'm now the new Personal Progress Leader-- they just can't cut the cord, can they? Just sever it a little! I know we all need change, and I'm grateful for the opportunity. I knew the end was near, it's just a little weird knowing that it actually happened! How could I expect to forever be in the Young Women presidency?? My life has revolved around the program for so long now, seeing the girls 2 to 3 times a week and planning with them and praying for them. It's now down to once a month. I should be happy for the break, right? The feeling I've lost a limb should go away soon, I hope.

Tammy (the now former Young Women president) made her presidency these aprons (I'm wearing above) as a "goodbye" gift. So, she does most of the work, as our president, and we get her fabulous presents-- sounds like a deal to me! I thought it was sweet that she told us she picked different fabric to match our individual personalities. I told her she must think I'm beautiful! So, thanks, Tammy. It's been a fun time! I'm going to try my hardest, now, to become the "BEST Personal Progress Leader EVER"! 'Cause I'm MAGIC!
