I Pity Da Fool...
So, Ethan woke up from his nap today, and Joe decided to try to fool him. He went in his room, crawled along the floor, then popped his hand over the crib with Ethan's little, green frog puppet on it. (He thought he was being SOOOO tricky and could outsmart my genius child...) Anyway, Ethan imMEDiately looks down by his crib bumpers, knowing the frog-puppet-hand is not actually floating in the air but belongs to a person-- what a smart boy! Yep, we knew it wouldn't take too long for Ethan to outsmart his parents...

Crazy Crawler!
I didn't know crawling could be such an adventure! Ethan LOVES to get into things, now that he's mobile. We have a bookcase in the kitchen, for extra storage, and he loves pulling out the bags, foil, saran wrap... whatever he can reach! But, he's a cutie, so what am I gonna do? Is it bad that I laugh and take his picture instead of getting after him??

The Fabulous Twilight
I have to admit I was a bit put-off when I found out this book everyone was RAVING about was about vampires-- I'm not quite the sci-fi gal you may have me pinned down as (yah, right!). But Twilight was really good! It was a good, clean book (by a good 'ole LDS mom) which is nice to read. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Me in a Nutshell
I decided to finally try this whole blogging thing. Everybody's doing it, right?? I guess I'll talk a bit about me, to start. Well, I'm stay-at-home mama, with a part-time computer job. I have the cutest, most aDORable child that was ever born (though I'm not at ALL biased). His name is Ethan, and he's 7 1/2 months old. I've been married to my husband, Joe, for almost 5 years, now. Hmmm... somehow it seems much longer... :) He's the craziest person I've ever met, and I love him for all that he is. (Ahhh....) I've grown up here in AZ, and I LOVE the heat! I graduated from college 2 1/2 year ago, with a bachelor's in English and another in American Studies. I will edit anything and everything I see-- I can't STAND seeing something misspelled or any type of grammar issue (although you'll have to forgive me if you ever see issues with my posts-- I AM typing while simultaneously entertaining a baby on the floor next to me). I really can't believe how long ago I graduated. I miss school, though I love being a mom much, much better! I'm very active in my church as a youth leader, so between being a wife, mother, and church leader, I don't have much time on my hands (hence the putting off creating a blog...). I'll tell you right now that most of my blogs will probably be about my son, since he's the person I hang out with all day long, every single day. So, I hope you enjoy!
