Crochet Queen

            MY blanket!
My BROTHER'S blanket!
About a month or two ago, I finished crocheting Logan's blanket (I started right after I found out we were having another boy). Ethan loves the blanket I made for him, so I thought I'd better keep a tradition and make one for all of my kids. It's a lot of hours worth of work, but so worth it to see the finished product! I was trying to use the doll for a "Logan prop," and I'm a little afraid at how Ethan treated it... What's my newborn got in store for himself?? Good thing we're having another boy....

Green Thumbs

                      Our teeny, tiny garden
     Green Beans
... More beans
Look like weeds... but they're jalapeno peppers!
Onions

Here's our little garden. We're very excited about it, since we haven't grown anything in a few years. We're hoping for our tomatoes to grow, too, though we're not sure if they'll work. I love homegrown veggies! Aren't they pretty?

Final Stretch

4 Months
5 months

6 months!

Yay, I'm in my third (and final!) trimester! I can hardly believe it-- yet, I really CAN believe it, at the same time. Pregnancies seem long to me when I'm the one pregnant. It's a long time to be sick! June... here I come!

So GOOD... yet, so BAD...

My quirky, little son and his new obsession with....
RANCH DIP
(The best part is at the end, when he actually DRINKS it!)

Here are his 18-month stats:
Height: 35 in (97th percentile)
Weight: 30 lb 8 oz (95th percentile)

Too Cool for School

He didn't enjoy me distracting him from his toys at Nursery. Does this look say it all??
At home before church, looking dapper

Ethan's first official day of Nursery was today. I can't believe he's 18 months old! Although I'm Nursery Leader, I had the day off (we rotate), and he couldn't care either way if Joe or I was in there with him. He loves Nursery, though he does enjoy taking things from other kids... toys... snacks... chairs... anything. We are working on it. Everyone else's things are entirely too fascinating to him. We have his 1 1/2 year check-up this week, so I will post on that later. I think he's slowed down a bit on the growing... we say he's getting "skinny" now. He's my cute, sweet, 30 lb, "skinny" 18-month-old!

Alien Invader

What a good husband I have. He gets allergies like no other when he works in the yard. Today, he was bound and determined to do it, anyway. Don't you love his mask? I wonder what our neighbors thought.... They probably couldn't care less-- just glad our yard finally looked good!
